Highlights from our participation at the D-8 Bioinformatics Bootcamp 2025 and the International Seminar on AI Cultivation, held at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) on June 16. This global event brought together researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and technology experts to explore how Artificial Intelligence and computational genomics are transforming modern agriculture.
Throughout the sessions, discussions focused on the application of AI-driven analytics, bioinformatics, and data-intensive research in improving crop performance, disease resistance, and sustainable farming practices. The event provided an excellent platform to exchange insights on emerging technologies, foster cross-border collaboration, and bridge the gap between research and practical agricultural solutions.
Our engagement highlighted the growing importance of integrating advanced data science and AI tools into agricultural systems. It reinforced the need for innovation-led approaches to address food security challenges and build a smarter, more resilient future for agriculture at both regional and global levels.
